Mysterious, yet nostalgic, Isolubilia is truly an ode to the romance found in the pursuit of a mystery. Musically rich in turbulence and serenity, majesty and humbleness, this album made me feel both lonely, yet understood as an isolated individual. Perhaps we're all fellow romantics, looking up at the same night sky, trying to wring our own meaning out of the stars. I hope that pursuit never ends.

Wonderful debut by this Norwegian retro prog trio. You could swear you're listening to a lost 1971 gem, instead of a recording that dates from 2018. Keyboardist Thor Erik Helgesen goes wild on authentic vintage keyboards with music that will remind you of Atomic Rooster, ELP, King Crimson and Van der Graaf Generator. It's a rather wonderful way of paying tribute to the prog greats. Amazing stuff needing to be heard and that goes to their next recording, The 3rd Majesty as well!

Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends ;-) In other words, this is a real treat for fans of classic ELP - or keyboard-driven early 70s prog - fans, more generally. Perhaps a little less virtuosic than the forefathers, but surely with a sharp (knife-)edge. Fun-fact: Helmsman and keyboardist Thor Erik Helgesen normally plays guitar in a black metal band ;-)
