"Amor Caecus" is a solo album by Vladimir Mikhailov, guitarist and composer of the Russian ethno-prog group Enine, whose album "Spiritus Natura" was released on Mylodon Records in 2021.

Such bright representatives of the Russian and European prog scene as musicians of the bands Enine (Vladimir, Russia), TLM (Riga, Latvia), Roz Vitalis (St. Petersburg, Russia) helped Vladimir in working on the album.

The album was mixed and mastered by Alexander Kuzovlev, guitarist of the famous kraut space psychedelic band Vespero (Astrakhan, Russia).
"Amor Caecus" is a story about the relationship between two people, a story of strong love that was ruined by too strong emotions. It is based on the personal experience of Vladimir, who experienced a vivid romance and a painful separation from 2019 to 2021.

As Vladimir himself says: "It so happened that during the first lockdown in 2020, I composed a lot. Life at that time was strange. There seemed to be silence after the storm. It turned out - it was just a lull before the next storm..."

Unfettered by the limits of prog rock, Vladimir Mikhailov successfully combines prog influences with the aesthetics of 80s music and even AOR in his compositions, sometimes invading the territory of post progressive, dream pop and the Berlin School of Electronic Music.
